Stefan C. Popa studied and actively engaged in architecture schools in Paris, Barcelona, Bucharest and London.
Stefan C. Popa studied and actively engaged in architecture schools in Paris, Barcelona, Bucharest and London. Over a fourteen year period, he has taken part in the design of projects in Spain, Morocco, US, France and the UK, and collaborated with architects such as Carlos Ferrater and Partick Genard. He was a design team member with Arte et Carpentier in Paris and Foster + Partners in Madrid and London. Recently, Stefan taught in Oslo, Norway alongside Territorial Agency and was a research scholar at the Canadian Centre for Architecture. After graduating from the History and Critical Thinking MA Programme at the Architectural Association in London in 2014, he was invited to participate in academic juries both in the UK and abroad. He was also involved in design units and MA programmes within the AA and University of Cambridge. Since 2018, he holds a research PhD from the AA.
